Recipe of the Week – Protein Peanut Butter Crepes

Protein Peanut Butter crepes – serves 2

 

Ingredients:

250ml or ½ cup of liquid egg whites (I use Farm Pride brand – frozen section at Coles)

¾ cup of rolled oats (dry)

1 tbsp or 20g Almond or Peanut butter

½ tsp vanilla extract

1 x scoop of whey protein powder

Sugar free maple syrup (optional but highly recommended)

 

Directions:

Blend all ingredients (except the nut butter) in a blender or Nutri-bullet.

Using a medium non-stick fry pan, on moderate heat, pour the batter into the pan and cook both sides until golden brown.

Smear with nut butter and top with maple syrup.

Hot Tip: Top with berries, banana (any fruit) for the perfect nutritional stack that ticks all the boxes. Not included in the nutritional profile.

Perfect for a quick reheat in the microwave making it the perfect pre made meal prep recipe.
