Kick off with ease

First, we’ll show you around the gym and introduce you to our space. After that, we’ll sit down to chat and answer any questions you might have, like:

  • Do I need to be in shape to join?
  • What results can I expect?
  • How often should I work out?
  • Which membership plan is best for me?

From there, we’ll help you figure out the next steps based on your goals, needs, and fitness level. This is a great place to start, and you’ll leave with helpful advice. Plan to spend about 30-minutes with us, and most importantly, see if Round 1 Fitness feels right for you!

Please note:  We book the appointments for ONE HOUR just in case we go a few minutes over…don’t stress about the time…we should be done in 30-minutes!

  • Book your free consultation here. When the day comes, arrive a few minutes early and check in at the front desk. One of our friendly coaches will greet you and show you around.

Round 1 is fantastic value with many class times to choose from. I love the members, strong community spirit and having coaches that are so supportive of my weightlifting goals. They know much better than I do what I'm capable of and they're always so encouraging. I think it's pretty special that the coaches make a point of greeting everyone by name. You're definitely not 'just a number'. The classes are AWESOME. I do both strength and boxing and no workout is ever repeated. If you're opposed to sweating, this probably isn't going to suit you. The owner has a heart of gold and is so committed to the success of every.single.member. During lockdowns he was so supportive and would post daily workout videos so members could complete them at home. Then he basically re-built the boxing gym to create cell-based classes so it was as covid-compliant as possible and implemented a disinfecting routine that members follow after EVERY class. Whatta guy. The 4-week-Challenges have been extremely helpful in changing my attitude towards myself/nutrition/exercise. I've improved a lot in the time I've been at R1. I'm incredibly grateful to Michael and the team for helping build my confidence and some ripper muscle mass. This place has become my second home and second family.

I returned to R1 after a long break because R1 is different in a great way to any other places I have tried. I actually want to come to each session because I know I will feel good for doing so. The trainers will push you and help you have your best work out all with a bit of friendly banter. Other members support you to get through the class and you really feel part of a community. The equipment is great and no class is ever the same. Great value for money and I am feeling so much fitter and happier since coming here.
