WHY STRETCHING IS IMPORTANT!
Stretching is important at the start and at the end of a session.
It doesn’t matter if you are a professional athlete or someone who just likes to keep fit and exercise for fun!
Five minutes of dynamic stretching is good before your workout session (eg. lunge with twist, high knees, walking lunges, glute kicks, shuffles, arm circles etc).
Five minutes of static stretching is good at the end of your workout session, (eg. upper back stretch, shoulder stretch, hamstring stretch, quad stretch, tricep stretch, side stretch, abdominal stretch).
Making sure your muscles are well looked after and mobile can prevent injury, soreness and keep your body aligned so you can recover well and train smart!
