    Recipe of the Week – Taco Bowl

    Taco Bowl 


    100g beef mince (heart smart 5% fat) 

    1 medium Roma tomato (diced) 

    1 spring onion (diced) 

    100g cos lettuce (torn) 

    50g kale coleslaw (pre-packed) 

    50g Greek protein yogurt 

    Juice of ½ a lemon/lime 

    3.3g Mexican seasoning (taco seasoning mix) 



    For the mince: Cook 500g of mince in a pan with ½ a  packet (15-20g) of taco seasoning mix. Keep in the fridge  and add to taco salad bowl when needed. 

    For the salad bowl: Chop tomato, spring onion,  shredded lettuce and add kale coleslaw to a bowl. 

    Add 100g of beef mince. 

    In a separate dish, mix yogurt and the lemon/lime juice  together to make a sauce. 

    Pour over the salad and devour!
